Ava August
Ava August first sang the National Anthem at 8 years old and wrote her first song when she was 9. After this experience her passion for singing and songwriting was further ignited.
At the age of 12 years old Ava August was contacted by NBC’s The Voice to audition for the show. NBC reached out to her after coming across one of her singing videos. She is the youngest contestant in the history of the show making it to the blind auditions out of 130,000 applications and 50,000 auditions across the United States.
She has published several original songs which are found on Spotify and Pandora as well as iTunes. Ava August sings weekly at local venues throughout Southern California. She devotes a good portion of her time to performing at elder facilities, elementary schools, and various fund-raising causes to assist children in need throughout Southern California. Additionally, she sings The National Anthem at various youth and collegiate sporting events as well as churches and veterans’ facilities. Ava August recently sang The National Anthem and Take Me Out To the Ball Park at Angel stadium during a Major League Baseball game.
At the Fair, Ava August will play three instruments (guitar, ukulele and keyboard) and sing covers and originals spanning genres from The Beatles and Elvis Presley to Arianna Grande and Bruno Mars.
